This is where it started
From a love of dogs to a family business
Woefkesranch was founded in 1990 by Erik Verschueren and Marleen Dyck. What began as a shared passion for dogs grew into a professional family business in which their sons Dries and Wannes now also take on lasting responsibilities.
Everyone at the ranch has a clear role. From choosing and following up the parent dogs to births, DNA parentage, registration, socialisation, puppy photos and guidance for new owners. That way customers know who cares for their puppy and who they can turn to.

Erik Verschueren
Founder and CEO
Erik founded Woefkesranch in 1990 together with Marleen. With his many years of experience he guards the vision and day-to-day running of the kennel. He follows up the parent dogs and litter planning and assesses combinations with attention to health, pedigree and character.
Marleen Dyck
Marketing, sales and aftercare
Marleen guides families from their first question to long after their puppy arrives. She helps choose the right breed and the right puppy, gives practical advice and helps where needed with the care of newborn puppies.
Dries Verschueren
Breeding, matings and births
Dries helps with the daily follow-up of the breeding dogs, the matings and the litters. Together with Erik he plans the combinations and follows the mother dogs and puppies through their different stages of development.
Wannes Verschueren
DNA, registration and puppy presentation
Wannes takes care of DNA parentage tests, microchip registrations and administrative follow-up. He also takes the puppy photos and helps future owners get to know the differences between the puppies.
A puppy becomes part of a family. That is why we not only want to know where our puppies go, but also remain available when their owners have questions later on.

Supports around pregnancy and birth, extra feeding for mother dogs, daily socialisation, administration and customer guidance.

Keeps a clean and well-cared-for living environment for the dogs and puppies every day. Eric is not the same person as founder Erik Verschueren.

Daily care and maintenance
Help with feeding, fresh drinking water, exercise and maintenance of the ranch.

Ranch support
Supports the team with daily work and the careful running of the ranch.
